The Maticoor or Matokhor night is a Mehndi party that is hosted by the bride. At this, henna designs in red – orange are drawn on the hands and feet of the bride and the women in the bridal party. Mehndi—or mehendi or henna—is an ancient form of body art, originating in India and across South Asia and the Middle East.

Sangeet Ceremony is one of the important pre-wedding rituals and held at the bride's place a few days before the main day of wedding. It is  where both the families meet and enjoy the moments by singing, dancing and merrymaking.
