Florida-based photographer Nicholas Mangal is the creator behind the lens and inspiration of DvS Photography NYC.



About Nicholas Mangal

Originally from Guyana, West Indies, Nicholas (or Nick as he's commonly called) moved to the New York when he was 12 years old. He enjoyed mixing music during his teens before shifting his creativity to photography at age 17.

DvS Photography NYC was founded in 2007 when Nicholas became a full-time photographer and focused his attention on capturing special events including weddings, engagements, maternity shoots, birthday and portrait photoshoots and more throughout New York and now Florida. 

Nicholas works diligently to provide his clients with amazing and unique photos that will last a lifetime, in addition to exceptional customer service. He possesses a strong sense of pride with the growth of his company and establishing his DvS brand.

With the rising demand for a one stop shop for both photo and video, Nicholas learnt all the intricate aspects, techniques and workflow in the world of cinematography. He carefully handpicked a group of his favorite cinematographers, thereby incorporating them under his company to cater and offer photography and videography packages to his potential clients.

On his time off, Nicholas enjoys traveling with his wife to far away countries; discovering new cultures, exploring unique places and trying various experiences - with a backpack filled with numerous cameras, action cams and even drones! His love for photography is shown even on his off days. He enjoys creating his own music as well as making musical mixes for fun.
